ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE
MCR provided the rollout of new credit card readers at 132 state agencies. This included project management, pre-configuration of the readers, removal and transport of old readers, staging and installation of new readers, and ultimately training users on the new system.
MCR currently provides on-site maintenance for the ID/DL systems at approximately 132 locations in Arkansas. We also continue to provide first-level help desk support with the rollout of these systems.This included project management, receiving, staging and imaging the systems, and distributing the equipment. Along with installation, we test the systems, train the users and removing and disposing of legacy equipment.
KENTUCKY LICENSE PLATE AUDIT
MCR provided six technicians for a physical hands on audit across 157 county offices. Tasked to true-up what was physically on hand, we audited the inventory system over a five-week period. Our technicians visited the locations, accounted for the license plates, processed the required paperwork, and forwarded it to the project manager. The manager then submitted the paperwork to the appropriate state auditor.
MISSISSIPPI REGISTRATION UPGRADE
MCR provided the rollout of the registration printer upgrade at 106 state agencies. This included project management, installation of the new printers, training the end users, and removal and disposal of old readers
OHIO BMV
MCR provided the rollout of 1440 new Thin Client workstations, 1440 signature pads, which we pre-configured before the rollout, and 525 Fujitsu scanners at 195 Ohio locations. In addition, we included project management of the MCR install team and employee assistance with the State IT to include imagining of the new Thin Clients. This testing of new images took place at seven pilot locations, while sorting and staging equipment at a centrally-located warehouse.
KENTUCKY DMV
Performed site surveys at 151 locations, which consisted of determining and making recommendations as to where the equipment should be located. Provided detailed measurements, drawings, and photos. We then compiled this information on a Visio drawing and rolled out the ID/DL workstations at the designated locations. This assignment also included project management of the MCR install team, staging equipment at central warehouse locations, delivery and installation, training end-users on the use of the new hardware and application software, and finally the removal and transportation of the legacy equipment back to the central warehouse.
MICHIGAN SELF-REGISTRATION KIOSK UPDATE
MCR rolled out 130 Self-Service Registration Kiosks during a four month period. All locations required site surveys which resulted in the removal of legacy kiosks and fresh installations. Upgrades were handled in conjunction with the site surveys, deliveries of new equipment and regular service calls throughout the state.
